@professorfoxtrot I agree a little, because you can't really know what everyone's done, what everyone's thinking, and what everyone's been through. But at least some part of it may be true due t the fact that they've researched it and made formulations, calculations and such as an estimate. Nothing is truly set in stone.

@XxslitwristsxX Yes, researchers for.junk social science projects funded by women's studies courses. Since rapes are unreported there is no way to know what is in people's minds who don't report things. It doesn't get any more self-discrediting than claiming you have access to everyone's throughts and the information they've chosen not to report. Then to put a figure like 80% on it is complete bullshit.

@XxslitwristsxX Well I'm glad to hear you say that statements you present as fact "maybe true," that you weren't just making hyperboles to villify men which brings me to my next point. Feminists believe they have a license to offend men, which is fine, except they throw up the stone barrier of tolerence when challenged when crying sexism. It would be like if I said, "80% of black crime goes unreported" and then called anyone who challenged this claim a racist.

@professorfoxtrot Most of the time, the people who make those statistics aren't feminist. And shit, maybe it IS true. Maybe a lot of rapes DO go unreported because of the circumstances within.

@XxslitwristsxX Oh, this also comes in the form of evidently imaginary statistics such as "80% of rapes go unreported." The fact is no one has any real way of knowing how many people are actually raped. It's rather annoying when feminists present it as the truth when they are not in full possession of the facts as means to sell hysteria all under the guise of tolerance no less.

@XxslitwristsxX Feminists broaden the definition of rape every day to the extent that having sex that you regret the next morning is rape. Feminists lobby all the time to have manditory sentencing for all rape accusations and it reached an embarrassing plateau with the Duke Lecrosse scandal.
