Having high PP doesn't automatically make you decent with every character. I main Akuma and Vega so i've seen the matchup on both sides, if a skilled Akuma gets a knockdown on Vega the Vega player is in big trouble.

I am not saying having a high PP makes you good at more than one character. But if you have a high PP and you are able to get BP for another character, it means you have some skill with that character because the opponents you will face will mostly have a PP similar to yours.

Either way,this Akuma was not very skilled I admit... but Vega does not trade well and has poor wakeup defense. So to achieve a double perfect in a real time ranked match is still a significant achievment

Uhh... I'm not doubting you're good, but you do realize that saying you "thrashed Akuma," against someone you have 5 times as many points (a n00b) is not the biggest of bragging rights right? Now if it was someone with 3K or 4K, but all means brag away. I'd be impressed.

His first mistake was running away. Akuma must attack or die. Just saying; no disrespect intended.

Nice fight. But I wouldn't recommend too many Fastbackslash on okizeme (at wake-up), cause if you're opponent is skilled... he'll just wait and catch you as you are recovering ; )

@geniusthadon No you didn't get lucky, you are quite good. You got away from those Ultras 'cause he mashed them out for noo reason. The ONLY way to beat a Vega with Akuma is the same way you have to beat Viper. Attack attack attack, and never let the person breath. If this person was good, he/she would know that. Not to mention the wtf grab at :24 by him. lol :P

Dude was definitely not a noob..... He had more Player points than I have..... it just means he does not play his Akuma online as much as another character. but he plays the character. and to amass 1000 BP online with a high player point score means u are good. I got lucky in a few instances
