Ah. Kevin Bacon. Not the best lookin' dude...but the son of a bitch can dance. I honestly apologize for my generation trying to remake this masterpiece of awesomeness.

I watched the remake and it wasn't terrible. What I enjoyed was the subtle homages to the original. I enjoyed some of the humanity and humility to it. I HATED the 'Ren Angry' dance in the remake; this had a lot of emotion and I things just didn't mesh well with the scene in the remake and for starters I think it was the music. T his song adds so much more to the scene.

I can't even watch the remake ever. The original can't be duplicated; everything was way better. Maybe the new generation find the remake better but for the oldies like me who grew up in the 80's this film will always be number 1!
