    You'll never see Eddie Vedder do a cover of a justin bieber song. Justin bieber can't hold a candle to Neil Young. He's not even qualified to tie Neil's shoes.

    I am an independent musician and that industry doesn't emphasize the importance of strong melodies anymore or strong vocals, harmonies, or strong instrumentation. Guitars are the most beautiful instruments on the planet. See any major guitarists today. Any focus on acoustic music? Diversity? Sitars? Flutes, Organs etc....Genres? How many do they have?
