@hardcoded321 Why china is not inducting the JF 17 into its own forces?? I think pakistan is investing too much money in a plane that the chinese wit whom u built it itself are no making it for themselves. Better invest in American/European planes..

@hardcoded321 see, these are just market gimmics. u were told by a PAF pilot off record right ? i can show u the army general of india on record saying sukhoi is now manufactured in india. there is a term "transfer of technology" which is done in all such deals. india had purchased submarines from russia under this and now new subs are build it india with "indian modifications". All apple iPhones are fully manufactured in china currently does it mean its a chinese product?

@milanric Now jf 17 is totally manufactured by pakistan itself and the technology was built by both chinese and pakistani engineers.

Old technologies were upgraded not just used.

It was told to me by a mirage fighter pilot of PAF who himself goes to china for such deals and operations.

Now for example we dont have mirage 2000 but pakistan upgraded the old mirages to 2000 itself and now mirages have night vision in them and much more and now we call them mirage 2000

@vaj99 let me tell you what can be accepted a proof of development. on youtube search the following "Indian Air Force- Indigenous Fighter Jet - Tejas - Part 8" and look at that video and its details. thats what we call proof that a country is developing an aircraft. do you have anything like this for JF17 ?

@vaj99 the engine of JF17 is China’s WS-13 & Russias RD-93. Avionics involve a modern “glass” cockpit of digital screens, using Chinese technologies and commercial processors. its radar is also China’s KLJ-7. So its only assembled in pakistan and that too by chinese engineers.
