Melting pennies with my butane torch lighter

Using my jet torch lighter to destroying US coinage.

WARNING : If you try this yourself, DO NOT touch the penny until at least 2 minutes after you melt it. It retains heat for a long time considering its mass. Also, melting zinc releases small amounts of toxic gas. Please do this in a ventilated area.

@baueroreaston If you blend the lighter, it will explode because of butane under pressure. I don't know if that kickass blender can blend pennies... we should get him to try.

@penn707 Yes, if you use it to burn certain green things. $10 bill burns before it melts and I think 5 pennies weigh a lot more than a nickel, other than that if I had a nickel plating machine I could mold the molten zinc and plate it with nickel.

@iiKode mines hammerless and looks just like that. its the same thing, but just uses an internal hammer instead of the pull back one. its actually very common now because cocking the gun is slow and inefficient compared to the "just aim and shoot" tactic.
