Houston, tx here... I am bringing my family (and pulling my boat) there to Destin from june11th -18th. I rented a house on the water with a slip for my boat.

@willystyle438 Awsome have a safe & fun trip & you gatta go out to Crab island in your boat. they have live bands playing on the water every weekend in the summer.

Just came back from Destin...Good drive from Lake Charles, Louisiana about 7 or 8 hour drive depending on speed & traffic in the major cities..definitely going back in july for my bday...

@Luna7ick I'm going back either the 22nd-24th or 29th-31st...definitely will rent waverunners when we go back...yall are so lucky to live out there..the only thing is wasn't use to the blue water, fast paced traffic & tons of u-turns...lol...but i quickly adjusted to it.
