  • Once the horse begins to understand the extension, end the early sessions (leave them EXCITED about it). Usually when you go back for the next session the horse will be itchy to please you and start offering it on their own (DO NOT PRAISE THIS! Only praise it when you ask for it!)

Once the horse begins understanding to extend the leg, the first few will be ugly, begin to ask the horse to SLOWLY extend the leg by using the a SLOW motion to rub the whip along the back of the leg!

  • tout simplement perfect et montre un dressage parfait voir exceptionnel ds la rigueur, la rectitude mais aussi la danse, le ludique je dis génial et nous change des rigueurs allemandes.....

  • that leg thing was most def on purpose, this is a brilliant example of harmonic horsemanship

  • Ive seen this horse in multiple videos all about dressage. Does anyone actually have the full video? -__-

  • Sublime!

  • Haha that's so cute!!

  • I can't even imagine how hard this is for horse & rider to learn to do this. Bravo!

  • Gah, this is so cute :'D

  • gorgeous horse, look at the muscle on its neck, JESUS!

  • @EmpressIllyria I can get my horse to halt and lift- but he strikes quickly (often repeatedly) I cannot get lift AND HOLD for the life of me- any suggestions??

  • That horse has TRUE self-carriage. Look at how slack the reins were a few times. Very nice overall, loved the little leg extensions too.
