@clehneis RCA VT-107(A)...which are mil spec, early, grey glass, black plate 6V6GT/Y!!! Just like late 50's era grey glass black plate, only with noise reducing and durability features built in....ie thicker mica spacers, copper support rods etc.

Awesome man thanks for the reply. I have the same tubes waiting to pop in my clone. I got one more question. That JBL D120F you got in that sounds amazing. Is it the orange or gray frame and does it have a cloth or paper cone? Thanks again Dan.

@clehneis This is an Orange frame and hence a cloth surround. I believe all the Orange frame are cloth surround. Not as warm as the paper surrounds but twice as durable!!!

I heard that they're not as warm as their paper surround counter part, but it sounds plenty warm in that amp. Plenty bright with no peircing highs from what I can tell from this video. Its really remenicent to peter greens tone! Its funny you mentioned that they're more durable. That must be why finding gray frames with original cones is almost an impossible task. Thanks again and congrates on the beautiful amp. She's in that "desert island" catagorgy.
