  • the name helrunar is from a very old german dialect and means the ones who whisper with hel

  • I love this band. Perfekt mix between cold black metal and beautiful folk.

  • @OfAsgard I read the name and kept thinking of runes... Hm, I'm glad you posted, because you've got me interested in this band more than I already was.

  • Helrunar, despite what it may mean in German means in 13th centrury icelandic (which most linguist will agree is Old Norse) "The runes[or letters] of Hel"

  • singer looks very boring, anyway FUCKING GREAT BAND! Love them.

  • Nice interview parts =)

  • kannst schon deutsch mit mir reden ich komm auch aus deutschland^^

  • I am from germany, and your are wright Helrunar means the ones who whisper with hel the german wikipedia says that too

  • helrunar stands hor rune of hell. Tell me how u would spell it. You can belive me, its spoken like its written.

Besides, nordic languages havent much difference in spelling with the german language.

  • in your theory an aspect is missing: other languages have different pronunciations of the letters.

  • Yes i know that...read my comment "carefully" I was asking a question on how "HE" could of spelled Helrunar wrong!
