@PHARRAOH Thanks Alan, yeah the fly alone could work, only problem would be the bugs, in particular the midgies.

@dcordry Hi my friend, thank you, hopefully the tent holds up well. I will be sure to test it soon.

@Naturliebe Hi Tito, thanks my friend. Yeah a green tarp would be better :-) Maybe next time

@CdnLifeguard71 Hi Nate, cheers my friend. Yeah the fly is quite a good design. Hopefully I can put it to the test really soon.

Hi Colin, I use exactly the same method with the addition of a Toolzone Tarpaulin Repair Kit. This allowed me to place eyelets on key points of the footprint to peg it down without damaging the tarp. The kit comes with hole cutter, eyelet holder and eyelets. All you need is a hammer and a solid surfce to work on. Buy online or phone 08003102852. For under £5.00.
Hope this helps, happy camping - George.

@dunnacoustic Hi George, I like the idea of adding your own eyelets, something I may consider in the future, cheers.

@TheRebelGeneral Thanks my friend, yeah the fly I am very impressed with, may have to give it a go by itself in the spring. Take care
