JJ is a superstar who loves to jump seen here jumping for the first time in the international arena at Hickstead. Bought in 2006, he has taken his present rider from a beginner to 'A' grade in 2 years, with an impressive number of wins throughout the grades. He competed in the South African Pony Riders Champs 3 years running winning classes every year and in his final year he qualified for the South African Children's Derby, won the JA Velcro Championship, the Equestrian International Championship, came 2nd in the South African Grand Prix and was placed 4th overall at FEI. Such was his success that we brought him to England with us on our return in 2009.
Having been competing at JC and regularly winning events, his winnings have recently taken him into JA where he came 2nd in his first JA competition. Very good at jumping 1.20m plus which was the level he competed at in South Africa at CA.
JJ is a forward going pony with a long stride, careful and very quick against the clock. This is an opportunity to buy great potential, while he would build a beginners confidence as he did for us, with experienced rider he is ready to take them right to the top.
Very sad sale as the rider is moving onto horses.

  • Hi

Yes we thought we'd sold him, it took ages of us being messed about and finally they let us down leaving us feeling very disillusioned about the whole experience and even took him off the market for a while but we realise this just isn't the best thing for the pony. I have been trying to find your number to let you know, I really regret not letting you come and see him but didn't want to waste anyones time. I'm sorry you've found another pony as we hoped you might still be interested.

  • no, this wasn't a JC class it was the secondary school teams final in August this year.

  • thank you we think so too and really want a good home for him

  • i really like this horse how much is he please?

  • @PaulsBoutique247 £25000, he's got great potential, with a good rider he will win JA classes easily

  • it is insane how much this looks and jumps like one of my old ponies that i had about three years ago now? amazing scope and jumps anything! lovely paced also. lovely pony, good luck finding someone for him!

  • @lieslandersson yes its a tad annoying because we are a big fan of coloured ponies and we liked the way he jumped, well good luck selling him. xxx

  • hello,

about a month or so ago we rang up about this pony and you said people were going to look at him, you rang us back and said that the deposit was taken. you then said that if they decided not to have him you would ring us back and we could go and try him out. so we continued looking for a pony and have eventually found one. but just as i was browsing horsequest i saw him for sale...

  • wow, really honest pony :)

  • Was this the jc final, and did he have one down?

  • i've seen him on horsemart, i'm currently a jd rider but mum said if i was a jc/ja rider we would go and view him, he's lovely.x
