Surfing Hurricane Bill Waves on an SUP

On August 22, 2009, waves from Hurricane Bill arrived in Surf City, NC. Some waves were double overhead. It was an awesome sight! And, in case you start wondering . . . he does make it out to catch some waves! The last wave viewed is the one that ends the session with a broken leash & side bite.

i never thought i would hate anything more than a long boarder. then the janitors came along... worthless. just get it over with and put a trolling motor on it.

i boogie boarded on those waves and they got pretty vicious at times

Somebody get this guy a longboard and a leash. Lots of wasted energy out there, but at least he's having fun I guess.

Should be re-titled "Kook on Closeouts Who Doesn't know how to use Paddle on the Wave". Try putting it in the water... it makes a huge difference.
