I had heard that this song had to be sung by someone, so they made 3 contestants choose out of a hat and Jason got stuck with it. It was not his choice. I never heard who the other 2 were or why only 3 had to pick, but to give them the benefit of the doubt, I would say these 3 were undecided on what to sing.
