LotRO: 50 Champion solos Fornost

It was 1 day left for the release of MoM, so I figured, what the hell, I need to see how far I can get alone.

at some points in the video I had 2 hunters with me, the reason for this was that I did not have the quests to some bosses, so to take them I needed some others to activate them. They fire some arrows in the start of some fights, but I told them to stop ASAP, and they did. The little damage they helped at the start would not make a difference.

I also cleared all the trash mobs in the instance to get to the bosses alone except for the final tower up to the last boss, down to krithmog I cleared myself.

ok, i'm a 49 champ and i want to know if i can do this, first question: do you have any special gear like that absorbs damage or something? second: what kind of weapons did you use? light shield, heavy shield, two hander? third: what toggle did you use? glory, ardour, or fervour? oh and, did you just use lots of dps+bracing attack when cool down ends+ potions?

@f00pers I had the Annuminas set, not the best one back then, but it was pretty decent, dont remember my other stuff. I used everything, it was a very experimental run, DW, sword and board, glory, ardur and fervour. Today I only use DW Fervour and Sword and Board Glory. In runs like this it is very important to use bracing attack and pots when ever you lose the amount of HP they heal so you get them of CD faster. Do not wait until you actually need them!

Lovely, I just did Fortost yesterday and like you we did everything but the last boss.

We tried him but he was way to insane.

@vilvero His difficulty seems to be a little higher then the rest of the instance. I hear instances scale in level now a days, does Fornost scale now aswell, or is it only lvl 40ish?

@PsychoT1m It's kinda hard to tell as the leader was level 40. But if I have understand everything right not all instance's scale to your level
