Illegal Alien represents the first time a former undocumented immigrant has told his own story of immigration and struggle in America on the way to finding acceptance and success at some of the highest levels of American society. Thus it shows not only what our nation has to offer to illegal immigrants but also what they have to offer us.
Dr. Fernandez—today a leading heart surgeon on Long Island—tells of growing up in a poor neighborhood in the drug capital of Medellín, Colombia, being illegally smuggled into the United States by his parents, excelling in school, getting accepted into Princeton University, seeing his undocumented alien status become known and then be resolved with the help of U.S. politicians, attending Harvard Medical School, undergoing a residency program at New York's famous Bellevue Hospital, and embarking on a surgical career through which he gives back to society for all he has received. Beyond telling his own inspirational story, Fernandez puts a human face on the issue of illegal immigration and reaffirms the American Dream of freedom, hard work, and success.

@BEAS408, I suppose you are jealous of him, since you are not as intelligent than either him or me. But it is irrelevant how intelligent he is if he is here illegally. Now that the SCHEME Act has been beaten down for the 7th time and the GOP Is back in control of Congress, it's time to go on the offensive, by calling for the PROSECUTION of Harvard, Princeton and all other schools committing the federal crime of harboring an illegal alien [punishable by 5 years prison and $5,000 fine EACH count]!

@tncdel Bad luck?? Wow, i would do anything to have his intelligence!...Jealousy

@tncdel Bad advertisement? seems like success to me! You see, these are the type of immigrants we should allow here in the US. I understand where you might be coming from, you dont like the fact that many just come to abuse the system, get walfare, commit crimes ETC ETC.But not all are like that.People such as the one in this video should be given the chance. This country cherishes hard work and success and that is exactly what this individual is doing. And hes from Colombia, not Mexico FYI

@lilbeezy4utoo, no point in me trying to explain something that went over your head.
And you're right, I won't get close to his level, unless bad luck causes me to drop down to it.

i just thought I'd let you know since you said "University of Mexico" well now you know, and i doubt you will ever get close to his level.

@lilbeezy4utoo, so? Same thing applies to all here illegally.

Que buena historia. Ojala y Obama cumpla su promesa de amnistia, para que mas hispanos puedan ir a la universidad.

Already-existing federal law says it's a CRIME to aid or abet, or to encourage or harbor, illegal aliens.
So not only would the Dream Act be contrary to law, but I've also reported this to I.C.E., asking them to PROSECUTE the universities for harboring illegals aliens.
And of course I gave this video one star and flagged it as mass advertising spam, trying to brainwash people into thinking down is up.
What's wrong with the University of Mexico? The illegals should attend school there instead.
