I Love 'ELLA' but, her version & 'Billie's' can't be compared, totally different 'Jazz Singers.' 'Ella' sings it beautifully though. I Love this Lady.~

What is the voice that surfaces in the background saying? (1.57-58 into the song, right speaker). Is it a technician? Does anybody have any info? Just curious :)

One of my favorites. Every word is clear. Best heard at night with lights off, eyes closed.... Dianne Reeves recording of this song is also very good. Thank you for posting.

It is Herb Ellis - but could I propose that his best recording is with Della Reese. Its live, hip & so cool. Also Ella is a luvable minx for mixing up the lyrics to her songs. No criticism - how could one with Ella. Unique beyond beauty.
