Christmas Shopping Children Visit Santa

The Wayside Christian Mission Child Development Center preschool class and the 2 and 3 year old class had a fun trip to Macy's at Oxmoor Mall, Wednesday, December 3rd. Macy's "Believe" program asks that children write letters to Santa and drop them off in the Santa mailbox at Macy's. For each letter put in the box, Macy's will donate $1 to the Make-a-Wish Foundation. The Wayside Child Development Center students always appreciate the donations and gifts they receive from volunteers, and decided it was time to give back by donating letters to Santa for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. While there, they were able to meet Santa Claus and sing a fun Christmas song with him. Each child's wish was heard and hopefully each child fulfilled a wish that day for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
