Myth's Mk1 40,000 items per hour piston mob grinder for Minecraft 1.9beta5

My first attempt at a piston mob grinder for Minecraft 1.9beta5. It's designed to be pretty much enderman proof, while not excluding them ("bah humbug" to 2 block high rooms!).

It contains 27 spawn floors, each made up of 4 chambers. Each chamber contains 2 rows of 32 spawn locations. Each spawn location comprises of 1x stone pressure plate, 1x sticky piston, 2x redstone torches, 3x obsidian block and 1x stone wall block. Total number of spawn locations is 6,912.

The Mk2 design (see video description / annotation for link) is a bit more refined and has a lever to reset any broken pistons that occur. =)

what is with the voice?

@pivotethan1 I don't have a microphone, and other than for the occasional video have no need of one. I have a licensed version of Ivona TTS (which is great for reading emails etc while do other stuff), so I figured I'd use it's podcasting features to provide a bit of narrative in this and a couple of other videos.

In my more recent videos I've switched to using annotations instead, as I can cram far more information in about how relatively complicated minecraft machines work.

@vussnguyen Most of the tower is built around a simple piston and pressure plate assembly shown at 3m18. These are lined up in a long row, then a second row is built facing the first. This pair of rows is then repeated horizontally to form a floor. Multiple floors are then stacked on one another. The grinder part is a bit more complicated, being a combination of gravity trap (fences with water over them) and lava blade. Schematic for the MK2 tower is available (see description).
