You can check out one of the videos on my channel that features just a few exercises I do in order to stay in shape and improve with these techniques, but don't be afraid to experiment, there are A LOT of ways to double slap... every exercise you see in double thumbing - Instead of doing the UP DOWN thing with the thumb, just slap twice...

thanks for the reply..yes its really hard to change/ learn techniques for me (beginner)..so how do you translate the DT techniques to DS? do left hand hammer-ons can help too?

It's just a matter of getting the correct angle and attack, also a low action and punchy sounding bass helps a lot...
