An older history channel video about Khubilai Khan and the mongols. I'm trying to find the newer barbarians version because it's a lot better. Anyway, I hope you enjoy.
They couldn't continue the war and had to lay off Japan. Hence, the use of the word "defeat". The Japanese did do a good job holding them back, though.
@NopeJPeg The japs did not defeat the mongols. Obviously the japs were defending their fortified castles along the shore. Of course the Mongols can't take over all the castles in 2 months. then storm come along destroies all the ships. U think you can continue a war with no supplies, and half your men were sunken along with the ships?
The Koreans resisted the Mongols for decades and the only reason was because they had fortified castles. The Japanese just holded on for 2 months such a good job
U MAD that viets and japs defeated you mongs? One with guerilla tactics in a forested environment and the other with superior swordsmanship that repelled the mong invaders back to their boats. The storm just helped finish the job. Face it, mongs aren't invincible. Your kind deserve some humiliation. har har
vietnam and japs defeated mongols??? Fools, mongols didnt attack them with the whole army or didnt take serouisly cuz didnt worth it! They just sent sum first timers to invent more land for their own!!!! 2 times to japs, and 3 times to vietnam and now they saying dey defeated mongols!!!! wow! grow up ppl! its just common sense!
@THE1V why was that? not even the chinese could hold down the vietnamese forever, they succeeded a few times i think but the vietnamese would always eventually overthrow their chains and become their own again. i doubt they're the military power that mongols are, so how are they so successful? is it because of the jungle land of vietnam was bad for mongol horses?
This is really helpful.
