This is a solemn chant that gives praise and thanksginving to God. In past centuries it was sung at the end of a plague, or for major feast as the chant hymn for matins.

That is how this started, Eric only had one night a week for the schola and none of us except him had any chant experience. I couldn't read the neumes yet so I bought a little camera. I figured he was too good to have the videos just be private and others could benefit as well.

Erick,Que Dios nuestro Señor te bendiga por el gran regalo que nos das a todos los que podemos escuchar este gran don que Dios te ha dado y que humildemente compartes con nosotros. ahora estoy seguro de que nuestro Sacerdote P.S. es priviligiado ya que Dios le ha puesto en su camino a un gran cantor para honor y Gloria de Dios.
