my point is that the police were not the targets. It may be their job, but they made themselvs targets, rather than just being victims of irrational attacks.

The point about the IRA is one I make against the Israeli's actions: Israel has been recieving home made missiles from palestine, and than they invade killing indescriminatly, destroying houses power stations and hospitals. They should'v been stopped, and made to act like the "civilised human beings" they claim to be...

They were throwing stones at the ISRAELI embassy, and the police only became targets when they tried to defend it.

I personally think that the violence is wrong too, but I do understand why it happened.

If I could go to Israel and make a difference there I would, but its not quite as practical as going to London.

On the bus I got to the protest from Plymouth most of the people were middle-aged to elderly British people, who actually give a shit about a country our government (and the West more generally) supports, committing mass murder. Or do you think killing hundreds of civillians is allright?

The majority of the 100 000 or so protestors were peacefull and British...

Naturaly, some people were angry at the attrocities that the British Government wasn't doing anything to try and stop, and the targets of the aggression was believed to be the Israeli Embasy.
