Silmarillion, Yo? (Nírnaeth Arnoediad)

A reading from Tolkien's 'The Silmarillion' conducted by Your Humble, treated and distressed (the recording, I mean) with martial wallpaper montage imagery of armored guys fighting with orcs and with each other, like elves, with swords, on purpose. If you like the audio treatment and are an animator, maybe you can re-rotoscope everything in this clip so it looks like 'Yellow Submarine' and add some dragons, or else re-skin it entirely with a 3D program and make it really, like, cool and then we can re-post it on some forum or comment thread on 'deviantART.com' or embed it on game-positive forums where people argue about whether Balrogs even have wings, or not. Or whatever.

This video is actually the product of quite an admirable effort; a lot of thought has gone into the visual accompaniment, and the reading itself is executed well (though perhaps in a way which is a tiny bit comically metal.) "Readings" of bits of literature seem to have gone out of fashion, but this is a good revival.
