Pics and video of snorkeling along the Great Barrier Reef with Reef Magic out of Cairns in Queensland, Australia. We did the cruise-fly option where you cruise to the pontoon and then take a helicopter over the reef and then back to Cairns. An absolutely awesome experience especially getting to play with Roxy, the Maori Wrasse.

Beautiful video. I did the same tour with Reef Magic a few years ago, including the helicopter tour.

wow thats wonderful my dream is to go there in queensland rite? ive been there only for the rides because there awsome, well anyways ergh if i had a chance to go to the great barrier reef and be snorkeling there i will be so happy it will be a suprising thing to me :) and im 11 XDDD Peace

@iloveyouu1397 The underwater stuff was filmed with a Pentax W60, the aerial stuff with a Canon SX1is.

Have you been on any others and would you recommend any others?
Im going to australia in march from U.S so im trying to get the best possible crusies and stuff, once in a life time experience =)

@iloveyouu1397 This was in Febuary 2010. We chose Reef Magic because they leave earlier in the day which gives you more time on the reef. They also had the most competitive prices and came recommended by friends. I would definitely recommend them - they were excellent.
We've also been to Green Island off Cairns which is great as you can snorkel off the beach. Saw lots of sea turtles there.

@girlg0figure We went out of Cairns with a company called Reef Magic who were absolutely great. We live about 4.5 hours away in Townsville so just drove up for the weekend.
