The argument that the land of Palestine belongs to the Jewish people seems illogical. If the argument is to be accepted by the western world, then return Australia to its rightful owners - the Aboriginal and Torres Straight Island people. Give back the United States to the Native Americans. The British were experts in bringing in immigrants and systematically displacing the locals (as in the case of Israel) and this is irreversible. So try to live in peace with your neighbors.

I fact even this doesn't capture the true irrationality of the argument - the equivalent would be to give Australia to ONE aboriginal tribe whilst expelling the others, the USA to ONE native American Tribe whilst expelling the others. And Aboriginal is an ethnic description, whereas Jewish could mean someone from the Ukraine or New York who has no more connection with Palestine than has a Christian.

she's not taking sides she's simply denouncing ANYONE who kills innocent civilians. surely that's a cause worth fighting for. people just seem obsessed with having a go at celebrities. she's standing up for a cause she clearly believes in because she hopes it might make a difference. i really don't think that has anything to do with bandwagons or the such. she just cares. which more people should do.

@bitkois Yes, the Jewish people have played that "o poor me" banner for too long. Playing the victim does not justify getting away with being the bully. Sore losers seems to be the case.
