Red Dog Trailer (Korean Subtitle) 한국어

On behalf of IAKA and KAPES, we are honored to be supported by producer Nelson Woss of the Australian film RED DOG, and Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) for the upcoming 16th film screening held in Busan, South Korea. The film was released very successfully in early August in Australia and is based on a true story of a traveling Kelpie dog well-liked throughout Western Australia. RED DOG defines the true meaning of companionship between dog and people and we encourage our members and friends to support the film during their international screening in October! Hopefully, RED DOG'S success will lead to it's distribution by the Korean film industry to educate the public on animal protection and awareness. More details will be available soon...

The International Aid for Korean Animals is a non-profit organization founded by Kyenan Kum in 1997 for the purpose of raising funds to promote animal protection and humane education in Korea. Based in California, IAKA is registered with both the state and federal governments.

Since its inception Kyenan has tirelessly campaigned around the world, educating the international community about the difficult conditions for dogs and cats in Korea. A major victory for IAKA came in 2007 with the revision and strengthening of Korea's 1991 Animal Protection law. IAKA had long campaigned and petitioned for its reform.
