The campaign to pass Measure D, a parcel tax to support the Mt. Diablo Unified School District, kicked off with a rally in Concord on Saturday, April 11. Speakers at the rally included Mt. Diablo Unified School District Interim Superintendent Dick Nicoll, Mt. Diablo Unified School District School Board President Gary Eberhart, Concord Vice Mayor Guy Bjerke, State Senator Mark DeSaulnier, Walnut Creek City Councilmember Kish Rajan, and Mt.
