How I Draw Nancy (Snowboard Kids) in 20 Minutes

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE COMMENTING!!

One of the (hopefully) many videos I am planning to make. It shows how I draw certain characters from games/shows I like.

Some info on the drawing:

This was colored with dying Copic and Tria Markers, so the colors aren't really top-notch. My apologies for that.

It begins with the sketch, using a pencil. Then it is inked with Indian Ink. Then we have the flat coloring with Copics and Tria Markers, followed by the shading. As a finishing touch, there is highlighting using a white gelpen (not shown here). The result is viewable at the final seconds of film.

The footage was filmed by me, as I was drawing the picture. Pencil in right hand, camera on the left. So that explains why the focus sometimes goes drifting off to one side. It was hard to keep my hand still AND keeping an eye on my drawing as well.

My apologies for the fact that the final stage of the drawing is VERY hard to see. It was darker than I thought and attempts to brighten the footage up only resulted in this. Next clips will be of better quality.

The actual finishing of the drawing took somewhat less than 20 minutes, but due to YouTube's limits, I had to fasten the footage to make it fit into 10.

One of my favorite N64 games

And to date, my favorite racing game of all time.

The replay value of this game is....unmatched.

The light atmosphere, the way they game sucks you in [especially in number two where they put more emphasis on the story] it was just an over all amazing game.

SBK: DS kind of changed it and really turned a bunch of stuff around without a lot of explanation [the removal of Linda, the one who started the challenge in the first place, being the worse change they made]
