IES Penyagolosa

IES Penyagolosa is a Public Secondary School located in Castellón, a city by the Mediterranean Sea on the Eastern coast of Spain. The school has 650 students and 75 teachers. We have 18 groups of ESO (Compulsory Secondary Education), 8 groups of baccalaurate and 2 groups of profesional studies.

We teach Compulsory Secundary Education (ESO), for students aged between 12 and 16, and the Baccalaurate, for students between 16 and 18, as preparation to enter University or for further proffesional studies.
The school has three separate buildings, sport pitches and a small garden, a library, gymnasium, ICT classrooms, art and music rooms and various labs.

In our school we have two languages as a medium of communication : Valenciano, our local language, and Spanish. In addition to this our centre also participates in a pluringual programme teaching ICT and Technology in English in some groups.
