Sounds wicked, I have an 04 ecsb. Where did you put the muffler in? Same as stock or move it back some? how do you like it after a year? Any drone?

sounds great...glad you went with the corsa instead of the crapmasters...

you have your cats and stock manifolds?

@cjmcilveen
Yes back then I had stock cats and manifolds. I just had the old muffler cut out then had a muffler shop weld in the new Corsa muffler in place. This is an older video, now I have a mild cam, Long Tube headers, and custom tune with approx 400HP at flywheel.

I am thinking about getting a custom tune done by blackbear performance. Previous owner of the truck did do a slight custom tune but nothing fancy. I want a real full tune now and it will really wake up these engines.

sounds bas ass bro! quik queston i myself have a
SIlvy 99 5.3, did u notice any perf. gains with this set up, and hows ur fuel economy?

if your truck is stock your probably not going to notice any performance gains at all but i would get 1-2 mpg more if I kept my foot out of it all the time LOL. Its a straight through muffler so it really can help on your mpg. 1-2mpg if you keep your foot out of it though. I have no headers or extra x pipe etc. Just had muffler shop cut out old muffler and welded this in place with couplers/adapters on both ends. Headers + exhaust and you would tell a difference and more with custom tune.

I love the sound, but when i start the truck he hears it and wakes up. It sounds like the surge right when i start will still be loud. Right?

ya on cold starts any exhaust is doing to be louder than normal but the corsa is not to loud though. Depending on your setup on truck, these db series can get louder than mine at idling.
