Presented by Dr. Michael Coffman. Don't think that the problems here on Cape Hatteras are unique to the rest of the country, the ESA is being used to cripple entire economies and to steal land from private owners. There are over 1200 species protected by the ESA and the piping plover in not even one of them, thousands more are listed as threatened. The environmental movement will do anything to get more species listed as endangered or threatened. Species would go extinct everyday even in a world without people (dream on, Sierra Club) and this will someday occur, too. Wake up to the fact that our rights are being taking away a little more everyday and they will use the war on terror, drugs, the environment and any other fashionable pretext to do it. Stop being good Democrats and Republicans! Get involved in the political process and demand from your local government officials that they fight for your rights and not the agenda of these elite, special interest groups.
