What i'm saying is if it's pouring rain out your not going to be able to dry it out like you did. Essestially you got it wet and then dried it out. mid as well not have gotten it wet. But myself I take cotton balls, wrap a piece of string around it and dip in wax. Will light even when wet and acts like a long lasting candle

why get it wet when your going to dry it out. not very realistic, out there the rain doesn't stop so you can dry something out

Its wet??? I just patted the water out.. Would you rather I light it under water??? In the rain everyone would still try to squeeze the excess water out which is what I did.. Show you that if you did it can be lit!!
