Do you consume land animals? If so there is a greater environmental impact of land based farming than seaFOOD production. Compared to chicken, beef and pork production, fishing has a lower carbon footprint, is more energy efficient, uses no antibiotics, fertilizers, no water, no pesticides and creates no erosion. Even though there is an environmental impact and an effect on biodiversity, it is the best way to produce food, not the worst. Research Ray Hilborn and Walter Stark.

this region is now in danger, the Malaysian government has plans to build a coal fired power plant off the shores of this unique biodiverse area.
