The New World Translation is it accurate?

Many people believe the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures is not accurate, but is that true?

Never even heard of the Watchtower Society until I was 57 and determined at age 12 there was no trinity. Jehovah is God Almighty and Jesus is his son. I believe Gabriel, Jehovah and Jesus. I just don't think they would lie about a thing like that. You all can believe Caesar Constantine, if you want. Oh, and I like the New World Translation (NWT) a lot. I also like the New International Version (VIV).

If I don't believe in the Trinity I must be forced to follow the WT line?

I have not even begun listing the many Bible verses that point to Jesus as being God's SON. I best that list would be a LOT longer than any list that trying to prove otherwise.

I don't need the WT to tell me anything on this, I, yes ME, yes me PERSONALLY, don't believe in the Trinity.

Guesss what, many who are NOT JWs don't believe in it either.

Jesus is God's SON - anything else is superfluous and beyond the rational.

ThirdNUnion, have you read the autobiograpy of Pastor Russell? I have and it he wasn't a mason nor did he practice pyramidology, he simply used the great pyramid of egypt as an analogy of God's divine plan

Danmera, Pastor Russel was right about "truth". He wasn't saying we should listen to the devil,because we all know he's a liar, but that even liars will say truthful things in order to propagate their lies, get it?

@Celrander Son in the Flesh, Jesus's spirit was already in existence. Just reading in the book of John we see this. He's the root and offsrping of David. I don't know about you, but no single "man" I know can do that one. Man also cannot do the acts which Jesus did.

So they FINALLY found someone to agree with them. Out of thousands, over the decades ONE finally agrees. I still find adding anything in the bible, where it wasn't originally, is fail.

1:13 Pasting the original greek word ξύλου· into Google Translation I see That "tree" is accurate. "Stake" shows a Greek word that is NOT in the original Greek manuscript!

@ThirdNUnion Um, check your facts my friend. It has been a symbol of the Freemasons for a very long time (and quite frankly, I think people make too large a deal about them anyway) but the point is is that is was made for him. It clearly says The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society on the sides of the pyramid. Please remember this, of all the warnings Jesus gave of the last days it was this: false prophits would arise with a different gospel. Then who? Look around! JW's,Mormons etc GET OUT PLEASE

@robotwookie yes there was a monument built by the Bible Students near CTR's grave stone AFTER his death with symbols of christianity which freemasons later adopted.

Respond to this video...Another thing to mention was the CTR was so into pyramidology, TWBATS buried him next to a huge pyramid in Pennsylvania with the TWBATS branding on it. Dude, look it up. He was visited by angels that gave him the 'restored' gospel. Remember what Jesus said about angels bringing a new gospel? And we haven't even gotten into the NWT or TWBATS weird and unheard of doctrine until the 19th century. Again, think for yourself. Look up CTR pyramid grave site
