Jesus Culture "How He Loves" bass tab/cover in Drop D - We Cry Out - 2008 - Key of "G"

I practically tabbed out the song. Every note that the original bass player played is marked up on the bottom of the screen for you to use to play the song the way it was intended to be played.

This song is in the Key of "G," and I play it in Drop D tuning. The song is in 6/8 Time.

I love the bass line for this song. I am playing this song this week at my church. It took me a few days to tab out the song. It took me a few more days to learn to play well through four-fifths of the tab. Towards the end when the song quiets down, I can't hear the drums over the lead singer giving a speech about encountering God, and I lose my place. I checked the iTunes iPhone App. Store, and I couldn't find a good tap-tempo metronome that was loud enough. I was going to run the tempo outside of the song's main, so that you couldn't hear it, but I could. I am serious about welcoming your donation or gift of a metronome or HD camera. I so could use either of those to make these videos better. Hahaha. I stopped typing, because I saw Charles Krauthammer came on TV, and I love CK. He's a brilliant guy. I agree with ninety percent of what he says.

I am still very proud of this video despite the middle-ish off-beat part. I love the bass-line, and it was a lot of fun to play. I hope I can pull it off live with my church band. Pray for me regarding that. I am still learning to turn a tab into a paraphrase based on what the rest of the band chose to play away from how the original song went.

Pray for me as I jam with a band I've gotten things going with. They're nice guys, and we've started a few songs, though we keep scrapping what's been worked on every prax for some totally new material. I guess it keeps me on my toes, and it keeps me less-bored. I am also looking to start a worship band on the side with this one guy I found on CL. I am also hopefully playing at the Winter Retreat with this other band. That I am excited about. I am worried the music might be a little old-hat for me. I am trying to inject my ideas about playing new songs, especially a lot of the songs you see me do on my channel. That way my preparation is a review of songs I am good with and good with.

Pray for me that I come to God. Pray I am blessed by God. Pray God Protects me.
