"Origins": Our next venture is a comedy short starring Jacob Flores and Scott B. Here's a quick summary, for more information you'll have to understand the comedic geniuses, Jake and Amir (Co-Workers at College Humor). Yes, that's right, if you are a fan we promise to do you justice. There will be; no over the top use of catch phrases, characters that will stay true to themselves, and a plot that will make sense to the Jake and Amir history. Okay, here's my first synopsis of our "Jake and Amir" Origins short.

Jake Hurwitz is the average likable guy. He goes to work, hangs out with friends and, on most days, strives for a normal life. Amir does not. Amir Blumenfeld is the constant companion to Jake, or so he wishes. In reality, he's the obsessive guy that sits across from Jake, who's only life outside of the office is either McDonalds or Jake's apartment (invited or not).

"Jake and Amir" Origins is the possible past for the duo, one that Jake has no idea about. I'll explain. Let's say J&A's first meeting occurred before Jake took his job at College Humor. Sure, Jake may believe that was his first ever Amir experience- but Amir's abrupt addiction to Jake seemed like it could be expanded on. So we decided to do the honors.
Welcome back to the 1980s, where we meet the elementary Jake and Amir. Or, as Amir decides to refer to himself as, Amar. Don't ask. Just be ready for the beginning of insanity; a young and naive Jake and a mysterious oddball Amar(Amir)...

  • Lmao

  • This is literally the greatest thing in the universe. XD

  • This was really good. Only thing I could criticize was the sound quality. Maybe have them on an indoor setting next time? or dub the dialogue. It was hard to hear on some parts, otherwise, great job.

  • I like how you taught the kid who played Amir how to say 'Twas a Dream in Hebrew lol
