    I had the good fortune of seeing Sammy Davis, Jr on Broadway in 1965 when I was 4 and a half. He was always an amazing talent. In spite of some of the overt racial stereotypes found in the full display of this film, Sammy Davis and Ethel Waters' performances are nothing short of amazing!!
