NBA Starting Five 2005 pt2

Old PS2 game, released in Japan only.

Not a 'great' game but by far the best Konami bball game and a game that for it's time did some great things that current games have recently copied and some other things that they still haven't matched.

Signature jump shots, dunks, celebrations, facial animation, the best commentary ever in a sports game (audio track is badly compressed in this video)

why wasnt this game released in the US, this is far better than nba live 05 & nba 2k5. They had signature dunks and shots way before 2k. this ganme is amazing. Im going to search for it on ebay

I think this game was not released due to the tight competition of ESPN 2k5 being $20 bucks and NBA live that people still loved.

they weren't terrible in 05. live 05 had its moments with ALLSTAR WEEKEND n 2k5 did some good things too but live 04 is STILL the best live n 2k will continue to get even better so i guess 2k11 will be thier best. but i agree starting five 2005 was great in its own right
