Same happened with mine after about a year and a half. Changing it yourself is easy as fuck and if it's under warranty take it in and have it fixed. If not, it costs around $50 to get fixed.
Same with mine. I have just replaced the fan and dusted out the computer about a week ago. The noise didn't alleviate completely, and it still heats up amazingly very fast. My workspace is a pretty clean, dusts cannot possibly cog up in a short period of time.
My next laptops are definitely not going to be Acer.
