Rev 1:19 Write the things which thou HAST seen, and the things which ARE, and the things which shall be HEARAFTER; Get it folks, past, present, future !!

I wish Christians were taught Biblical Hermeneutics, because then 'audience relevance' will be considered so that we'd understand who 'soon' applied to. And the Roman Jewish War - how FEW Christians know about this significant time in history!! Why aren't we taught this? Also- apocalyptic language- so many take it literally. All over the Old Testament it is used symbolically, so why, when in Revelation, do we literalize it? "old heavens & earth" is the Old Covenant, so 'new heavens & earth' is

@Corinth777 These are questions I also once asked and I thank you for asking them. 1. The kingdom of heaven is the church. 2. The millenniun is actually thousands of years and it is the new covenant. 3. What do we do now? Preach the gospel and realize that the church will continue to grow and advance and that the gates of hell will not prevail against the church. I hope this helps.

@MrsRosengard It's good to know what you think, but it's better to know what the Bible says. See the commend above.

@FALLONME35 Yes, thats what I think. The Book of Revelation is what WAS, IS, and WILL BE. It pertains to every generation and not just the last.

@AllThingsFulfilled I am only a half-preterist. I think that most of Revelation has been fulfilled but not all because we have not been resurrected yet. Nor do I think Revelation is literal but symbolic.

The Book of Revelation is a book of things that had happened, were happening and would happen. ALL of it can not be fulfilled, I do not buy that at all. That is total deception and what the enemy wants you to believe. Although a lot has happened, not ALL, not even close to all has happened....sorry..
Compare what you've written with the first three verses of Revelation, where John speaks of things which were "shortly to come to pass" and the "time had drawn near." It could not be near now. But listen to Paul. "And do this, knowing the time that NOW it is high time [THE HOUR] to awake out of sleep; for now is our salvation nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is AT HAND." (Rom. 13:11-12) You opinions do not mitigate against the inspired word of God.

Remember, Christ taught that he kingdom was at hand during his ministry, (Matt. 4:17; Mk. 1:14). That means it was near. However, Paul taught that they were "receiving the kingdom" (Heb. 12:28). It would arrive before some who stood with Jesus died, (Matt. 16:28). So those who obey Christ are "in the kingdom." The Millennium ended when the kingdom fully arrived when all Christ's enemies were defeated (70 AD). The faithful now live with Christ in life and beyond death, (John 8:51-52; 11:25-26)

If Christ has already returned in flaming fire with His angels, then the Resurrection is past and you are doomed! Preterism is false. True, Daniel's prophecies were fulfilled by 70 AD, Revelation was a message for the church that was entering a time of persecution. But, Matthew 24:35 is future. Heaven and earth WILL pass away and the end will come without any definite signs. (Matthew 24:42)

@skuuter Daniel's prophecies were fulfilled in 70 AD. Daniel's prophecies are the same as those in Revelation. Therefore, Revelation was fulfilled in 70 AD. Daniel prophecies were fulfilled in 70 AD. Daniel's prophecies are the same as Matt. 24:3, 15-18, 21, 30, particularly. (See Dan. 7:13-14, 9:27; 12:1-7. Therefore, Matt. 24 was fulfilled in 70 AD. Heaven and earth there refers to Judaism, not to the planet. It passed away, but God's word remains.
