THPS was the shit. It just couldn't make the leap that skate did. Even in... I want to say American Wasteland.. there are "flick-it" tricks where you enter a slow-mo and control each foot with a different stick. But they didn't know how to really implement it while staying true to the series. I love skate, but the Tony Hawk series was the first step on the path to Skate.
