whoever says so and so should be ashamed of oneself, take a look at yourself. You and I are the source of the problem. When is the last time you went to a restaurant and have straws in your drinks? How about grabbing a bottle/cup of water at a conference/meeting? And what about using that tube of toothpaste? bottle of oil? No one is a saint here, but we should still do our best to raise awareness and recycle whenever possible.

not everyone, just most people. if we're going to make this right, we're going to have to start now, or it'll be to late. And if anyone deserves to die, its the people who think that global warming is a hoax

oh, ALSO... you can make plastic and tampons and lotion and food and oil and fuel and rope and paper and cloth and a thousand other things out of a plant, not crude oil... but that plant is illegal.

recycled plastic is easy to make. it's just a piece of crude oil and can be sold and bought just like the other parts of crude oil are ALL OVER THE WORLD. maybe if kings and queens, furors and communist ghost leaders didn't own over 60% of all the stuff owned we would have more power to live like animals, with big brains and oppose-able thumbs, rather then just animals enslaved by psychotic war mongering fools.

How can plastic as far inland as Iowa end up in the oceans? I would assume most plastics would end up in land fills. Most of this plastic had to have been thrown directly into the ocean.
