@dtolbiac Not all noise is created equal. Some noise is distracting; some noise is people participating and enjoying themselves here. Nina said she wanted people to feel the music. And that's what we have here. If she felt they were distracting, Nina would have just walked off stage!

@cupcake5463 Dtolbac is def over the top claiming that Nina "is at the bottom of a hole" here. But you also go a bit too far claiming that all her songs in the 60s were "an angry woman singing about angry things." You might enjoy watching the Jazz Masters DVD to see just a *little* of her range. And her autobiography tells about the joys and struggles of her whole career. And, hey, what's the matter with being angry with the evil that she saw?

Born in 1933, she was only 53 years old in 1986...
Yet she looks 10 years more, tired and affected by drugs, alcohol, suicide temptation...
After the glory of the sixties, she is at the bottom of the hole, errant woman in Europe singing before noisy audiences in ugly places.
