And the Very Very Ugly! *David Koch* Koch - one half of the gruesome twosome known as the Koch Brothers - was interviewed by the Palm Beach Post over the weekend. In the interview - Koch openly flaunted he and his brother's willingness and overwhelming ability to basically "purchase" public opinion - and even an election.

Fred Koch was forced out of this country by crony capitalists, and yes he did some business with stalin's regime. But that's exactly what shaped his political views - he was disgusted with stalin - some of the scientists he worked with were purged. That's why he became a libertarian, and he passed that on to his sons Charles and David, who have been lifelong libertarians. So yes, the Koch bros are salt of the earth americans.
