A real-time demo of processing audio samples using Expert Sleepers Silent Way and a modular synth, connected via the Expert Sleepers ES-3 Lightpipe/CV interface.

A drum loop is processed first with a phase shifter controlled by Silent Way LFO, and then with a VCF controlled by Silent Way Step LFO.

  • @aceyage The ES-3 has 8 24-bit output - the ES-4 has 5 8-bit outputs. Latency is not an issue in either case.

  • So it basically can be used as an input module from audio from the computer. Also what is the basic advantage the ES3 has over the ES4? Despite the ES3 having 8 outs… does ADAT have less latency because of it being optical?
