he does show when you save him, the scene right before he turns mad is when you save him. You choose to either let him feel he reached his goal in life and then kill him or save him so he will live on and help you again Gwyn but remain in depression. Solaire kinda don't win at all xD

@rexxtheawsome Oh Trust me it has story look up Epicnamebro and Quelagg's Retrospectives and Theories on the lore of Dark souls There is ALOT Of story and Michel here is a big contribution he has a catalog of all the Dialogue in Dark souls.
