I read an interview with Stewart a LONG time ago where he basically implied that he doesn't really like drum solos and I don't recall ever seeing him do a drum solo. A lot of people believe that drums are meant to be an accompanying instrument, and I suppose he is one of them.

@GUITARMASTER1388 Well, i really like him, but honestly, the best of the best is a bit too much.

Stewart Copeland rocks! His style influenced a generation of drummers--
who can rock it out like Stewart without playing 1 ?????
(although he was definitely playing the 1's here)

race has absolutely nothing to do with it

I got his autograph at the restaurant at breakfast the next morning. I had to tell him it was me who yelled "STEWIE" right when it got quiet and he said "That was you? You threw me off!" But he was not really angry at me. I wanted to tell him that I was the biggest Police fan and that I played to all his music and learned a lot from his style but I choked. He signed a drum head I brought with me. HAd a great time there. I wasnt able to find a video with me yelling "Stewie" on it yet.

He's outstanding. I don't know how to say it politically correctly but Stewart is so white but plays with such originality, soul, and expression. An outstanding drummer.
