Carb problems on a 2004 Suzuki Eiger, I rebuilt the carb... No luck. So heres the question.. there was a aftermarket adjustable jet needle in the carb.. should I use it or the new stock OEM non adjustable.

  • you got water in the tank

  • @mymikesin No, we used fresh gas initially, then added Seafoam, decided to flush it back out and now a fresh tank of 91 octane gas.

  • @Techyon I have a 2004 Suzuki Eiger. the lever you are playing with on the left handle is the choke. Best to leave it down, only need to use it when starting in cold weather.

  • well man im not a pro or anything theres a small wheel on a cable you can adjust to adjust the idle maybe ur idles to slow. they acuttly idle pretty fast.. just my two cents

  • dont know if you still have this quad or not but i have one. when that level is in the down position the choke is fully engaged. when in the up position it is in the normal operation mode. check your pet cock, i had the same poblem and the pet cock was flooding the engine out cause it was bad.

  • I grew up riding one of theses exactly the same as yours had the same problem was never quite sure how to get it fixed. how ever what they have said is true about the choke and I don't recommend riding with it on it will over heat the engine.

  • choke up is choke off

  • I own one to and on mine when the tab of the choke is sticking up the choke isn't on and then when u push it down and its facing you the choke is on

  • @TheSuzukieiger400 Bud i agree with him when the choke is up that means the choke is on i own one had it since i was 12 man im 19 now so yea i know what it is i work on it my self.

  • @TheSuzukieiger400 yep that choke is on lol. duh!!! i mediately saw that. problem solved.

  • The thing on the handle bars is the choke when its down the choke is on when u put it up the choke is off
