Holy crap! Michael Stipe just made this song ten times better. If i were an artist i would never let R.E.M cover my song because they would do it so much better than the original!

Bono knows that Stipe made this song better. When asked why he wasn't on stage, he responded by saying: " Yes, I did write this song, but, I wrote it for someone with a great voice like his" I have seen U2 perform since the 80's, and never heard such a great, well deserved compliment. Pretty cool, no?
